What is Shigino?

First of all, this is not “Kamono”, but “Shigino”.
In Kanji chractors, it is slight close between “Kamo鴨” and “Shigi鴫”, so poeple often says “Kamono” instead of saying “Shigino”.
“Shigino” is located in the east of Osaka City, and it is the town next to Osaka Castle.
It is not far from the center of city, but it is a quiet residential area in real downtown Osaka where a lot of “Showa=nostalgic” atmosphere remains when you get off the station of Shigino.

There are now 4 public baths within 5- to 10-minute walk from the inn. Two of the public baths use natural hot springs.
There are a lot of satisfied restaurants with good taste and good price no matter where you eat, and you can meet very friendly local people.

① “Shiginoya”, Seafood, Chicken BBQ

Shingu Onsen / Fudo-no-Yu/
Kegon Onsen / Kanko Onsen

Fudono Yu and Kegon Onsen are public baths using natural hot springs.
