皆さん、こんにちは！大阪・鴫野（しぎの）にある宿カフェ Chelsea’s Rainbow のオーナー、チェルシーです。
当宿は大阪にありますが、実は私、日本各地を旅するのが大好き！これからこのブログでは、大阪の魅力はもちろん、私が実際に足を運んで感じた**「日本各地のトキメキ」**をお届けしていこうと思います。皆さんの旅のヒントになれば嬉しいです。
今回は、娘の「推し活」に同行して駆け抜けた、日曜・日帰り東京弾丸ツアーの様子をレポートします！
❄️ ピンチがチャンスに！始発の新幹線で出会った絶景
実は当初、夜行バスで行く予定だったんです。ところが、まさかの寒波でバスがキャンセルに…！急遽、当日の始発新幹線に飛び乗ることになりました。
でも、これが大正解！ 冬の澄み切った空気の中、車窓から見えたのは今まで見たことがないほど美しく、神々しい富士山。 朝日に照らされた真っ白な富士山を見た瞬間、一気にテンションが「アゲアゲ」に！幸先の良いスタートになりました。
🗼 東京のシンボルと、進化するウォーターフロント
東京到着後、まずはイベント会場の開場時間まで東京タワーを拝みに。やっぱりこの赤いタワーを見ると「東京に来た！」と実感しますね。
その後、娘を豊洲PITへ送り届け、私はもう一人の娘と一緒にお台場へ。 お台場に来るのは、フジテレビが移転して間もない頃に母と来て以来。当時はフジテレビ以外、周りには何もなかった記憶があったのですが…
「えっ、ここどこ！？」
と叫びたくなるほどの変貌ぶり！ ゆりかもめの駅も車両も、そして立ち並ぶ商業施設もすべてが近代的。もはや巨大な近未来観光エリアになっていて、時代の流れと進化に圧倒されてしまいました。
🏮 浅草の活気と、初体験の「もんじゃ」
娘と合流した後は、東京観光の王道・浅草へ！ 雷門周辺は、海外からの観光客で溢れかえっていて、ものすごいエネルギー！あの独特の活気と江戸情緒が、世界中の人を惹きつけているんだなと肌で感じました。
浅草からは、空にそびえ立つスカイツリーもバッチリ。近くまで移動してその高さを体感した後は、お楽しみの夕食タイム。
実は私たちにとって「初体験」だった、本場のもんじゃ焼き！ 鉄板で焼くライブ感と香ばしい匂い…最高に美味しかったです。
♨️ 最後は銭湯でリセット！
帰りは夜行バス。弾丸旅の疲れを翌日に残さないよう、バス乗り場近くの銭湯を探してひとっ風呂！ 都会の真ん中で大きなお風呂に浸かり、サッパリしてから大阪への帰路につきました。
💡 旅を終えて：東京がもっと身近に
大阪に住んでいると、東京は少し遠い場所に感じがちですが、今回行ってみて**「意外と便利で、ぐっと近い！」**と感じました。
新幹線やバスを駆使すれば、こんなに濃い一日が過ごせるんですね。 宿カフェ Chelsea’s Rainbowに泊まるゲストの皆さんにも、大阪を拠点にしながら、フットワーク軽く日本中を楽しんでほしいなと思います。

[Owner’s Travelogue] A Whirlwind “Oshikatsu” Day Trip to Tokyo! From Mt. Fuji to Asakusa
Hi everyone! I’m Chelsea, the owner of Chelsea’s Rainbow in Shigino, Osaka.
While our cozy guesthouse is located in the heart of Osaka, I personally love exploring every corner of Japan! From now on, I’ll be sharing my travel experiences from across the country on this blog. I want this to be a place where you can discover the charms of Japan beyond just Osaka, and hopefully, it inspires your next adventure!
Today, I’m reporting on my recent Sunday day trip to Tokyo, where I accompanied my daughter for her “Oshikatsu” (supporting her favorite idol)!
❄️ A Pinch Turned into an Opportunity! The Best Mt. Fuji View
We actually planned to take an overnight bus, but it was suddenly canceled due to a heavy cold wave! We had to scramble to catch the first Shinkansen (bullet train) on Sunday morning instead.
But honestly? It was a blessing in disguise! Through the crisp, clear winter air, I saw the most breathtakingly beautiful Mt. Fuji I have ever seen. Seeing that majestic, snow-capped peak glowing in the morning sun got me so hyped for the day ahead!
🗼 Tokyo Icons & the Evolving Waterfront
After arriving in Tokyo, we headed to see Tokyo Tower before the event venue opened. There’s something about that iconic red tower that makes you go, “I’m really in Tokyo now!”
Later, I dropped my daughter off at the event venue (Toyosu PIT) and headed to Odaiba with my eldest daughter, traveling along the Yurikamome Line. The last time I visited Odaiba was with my mother, shortly after Fuji TV had moved there. Back then, I remember there was almost nothing else around…
“Wait, is this the same place?!”
I was shocked by the transformation! The Yurikamome stations, the trains, and the surrounding landscape have completely changed. It’s now a ultra-modern, large-scale tourist hub packed with incredible facilities. The evolution of the city is truly amazing.
🏮 The Energy of Asakusa & Our First “Monjayaki”
After reuniting with my daughter, we headed to the classic Tokyo destination: Asakusa. The area around Kaminarimon Gate was buzzing with international tourists! I could feel exactly why this place charms people from all over the world—the atmosphere and the sheer energy are incredible.
From Asakusa, we caught a great view of the Tokyo Skytree and decided to walk closer to take it all in. To wrap up our Tokyo food experience, we tried Monjayaki for the very first time! Cooking it on the iron griddle was fun, and the savory flavor was delicious.
♨️ Ending the Day at a Public Bath
Since we were taking the overnight bus back to Osaka, we looked for a Sento (public bath) near the bus terminal to wash away the fatigue of our whirlwind trip. Soaking in a large bath was the perfect way to reset before the long ride home.
💡 Final Thoughts: Tokyo is Closer Than You Think!
For those of us living in Osaka, Tokyo can sometimes feel a bit far away. But this trip taught me that with the right transport, it’s actually very convenient and feels surprisingly close!
